Montage Practice in class

Week 4 into my course at Media Design School...
We have a new project every week, this week is Montage/Collage!!

This work is just a class practice where we have to re-create this montage using various of images & texture/background...
Combine everything together, using brushes, layer masks, blending mode etc.

Program used: Photoshop CS6

Montage

▪ Photomontage is the layering or joining of multiple images together to create one seamless story or idea within an image.
The physical edges become inconspicuous.


"Montage (from the French monter, to mount)
is the combination of diverse photographic images to produce a new work.

The combination is often achieved by rephotographing the mounted elements or multiple darkroom exposures.
In the finished work, the actual physical edges become inconspicuous.
The artistic result often tends to be surreal rather than abstract." 

History

The photomontage was first used by Dadaists to express political dissent in 1915;
it's essentially a collage of photographs used to express an idea.
